I was just thinking…

As Dirty Harry said, “A man’s gotta know his limitations.” So does a woman! I’m a substitute teacher at a private school for kids with special learning needs, and for several days I’ve been in for the middle/high school math teacher. My strengths lie in grammar, writing, history, and creative pursuits, not numbers. I’ve learned I can fairly easily manage up to Algebra 2, but beyond that, I’m truly lost. Do not ask me to teach pre-calculus. That is clearly a foreign language. Needless to say, I earned my pay this week, and I think I’ve earned some hazard pay as well.
